Completed Project in Choctaw, OK
Class 3 Roof Replacement
Choctaw, OK
A full insurance replacement on a Choctaw home with steep mixed pitches
This Choctaw homeowner contacted McCann's Roofing and Construction after storm damage triggered an insurance claim on a stone and brick home with one of the more demanding rooflines we see, pitches ranging from 10/12 through 13/12 across different sections, 208 linear feet of valleys, and a roofline geometry that required crew safety harnesses throughout.
GAF Timberline HDZ Class 3 Impact Resistant shingles in Weathered Wood were selected for their hail performance and warm, natural tone against the stone and brick exterior. The full project scope included roofing, ridge vent replacement, skylight detach and reset, new seamless gutters, two new insulated steel garage doors in Desert Tan, and exterior painting, all under one contract.
Homeowner story
One contract, one point of contact
The Problem
The storm damage on this Choctaw home went beyond the roof. The homeowner was dealing with a roofing claim, damaged garage doors, and a need for new gutters and exterior paint touch-up all at once. Managing multiple contractors on a home with steep mixed pitches and complex geometry was not something they wanted to navigate alone.
Our Recommendation
We recommended GAF Timberline HDZ Class 3 IR shingles in Weathered Wood for the roof and coordinated the gutters, garage doors, and exterior painting under the same project. The homeowner had a single project manager overseeing all trades from start to final walkthrough.
The Result
McCann's delivered a complete GAF Timberline HDZ Class 3 roofing system with a GAF Extended Warranty, new seamless gutters and downspouts, two new insulated steel garage doors in Desert Tan, and exterior paint, all under one contract and one project manager.

Roof measurements
Certified measurements from a professional QuickMeasure roof report. Every McCann's job starts with an accurate, documented scope so the homeowner and any insurance adjuster have the same numbers from day one.
What made this job different
Steep pitches, complex geometry, and a full project scope
Mixed steep pitches up to 13/12
This home has roof sections pitched at 10/12, 12/12, and 13/12 among the steepest residential pitches we work on. Every section required safety harnesses and specialized staging throughout tear-off and installation.
208 linear feet of valleys
The roofline geometry created over 200 linear feet of valleys, each requiring precise ice and water shield coverage and careful shingle work to ensure long-term waterproofing at every transition.
Full project coordination
Beyond the roof, McCann's coordinated gutters, two new insulated steel garage doors in Desert Tan, and exterior paint touch-up all under one contract with a single project manager for the homeowner.
